Form

The form block collects answers from readers and sends them to an address you choose. Use it for enquiries, registrations and feedback — anything short enough that people will finish it.

1 · Kinds of question

Short and long answers — Single-line fields for names and subjects, a text area for anything over a sentence.

Choices — Dropdowns, radio buttons and checkboxes when the answers are known in advance.

Dates, times, files and more — Pickers and an upload field, for bookings and applications.

2 · Helping people answer

Required fields — Marked, and checked before sending. Require only what you genuinely need.

Placeholders and default values — A hint inside the field, or a pre-filled answer for the common case.
