Banner

The banner block lays one or two lines of text over a full-width image. Use it at the top of a page to name where the reader has arrived, not as decoration between sections.

1 · What the banner says

One or two lines of text — A title plus a short qualifier.

2 · How wide it runs

Layout width — Aligned with the main elements in the page, like the header.

Edge to edge — Breaks out to the full window for arrival moments. At most one per page is recommended.
